Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability

If a Veteran can’t work because of a service-connected disability, they may qualify for Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU). This means that the Veteran may be able to get disability compensation or benefits at the same level as a Veteran who has a 100% disability rating.
